This step is important.

The design pieces will slide and come apart.

The base pieces will have the top of the design open and the bottom of the fabric glued together.

You may also need to trim the fabric slightly to accommodate the design.

When you are ready to attach the Nest, gently fold the fabric to make a rectangle.
